- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆We came to Eaglehawk for a walk and a look around. We were told by locals that this place offers nice pub meals but don't expect anything flashy. We were pleasantly surprised when We got a salmon with rocket, sweet potato and feta salad. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the sweet potato was nice and brown on the outside. It was just what We were looking for tonight. We also had a chicken parmigiana which was sizeable, juicy and not from a packet. A salad that offers more than just 2 tomato wedges and greens stood out. The staff were great and loved to share a joke.By Gavin Southern, December 29, 2016
